There is porcelain, ceramic, quarry, terrazzo, terracotta, among other less expensive styles as well. Why porcelain tile from above the rest?Porcelain is actually made of ceramics, but is a much better quality of ceramics. There are both some similarities and differences between porcelain and ceramics. Firstly, they are both built of the same type of sand materials, which consist of clay and quartz and combined with water. Once formed, these tiles are placed in an oven at high temperatures to form a strong, smooth surface.

Porcelain tiles are very popular because of the way that they seem as clean and smooth. The high temperatures of the furnaces are the key to this influence and once they are installed on your floor, they are very easy to maintain with very little work on your part.
